About Paulanne’s Treasure House
As Founder of Paulanne’s Treasure House, Paulanne is responsible for the over all management. From purchasing and researching, to pricing and customer support.
Her love for porcelain, antiques and collectable items started when she was just 7 years old. The story goes like this; She went to a local church fundraising event close to mothers day to find a gift to give to her mother. From all the stuff displayed her eyes fell on a bric-a-brac table. On this table there was a teapot which she bought at princely price of US$0.25, which at that time that was her pocket money for the week. Feeling very happy she went home to show her grandparents what she had bought and her granddad immediately told her “Let’s put this half penny inside the pot for good luck”.
This passionate hobby took flight and led her to start a career working in this industry with well known companies here in Malta. She then was invited to educate and share more about this passion of hers on public broadcasting media outlets.
The motivation for establishing a website catering to the antiques and collectibles world was inspired by the feedback received from her viewers and friends that where interested in collecting antiques themselves. Combining her passion for antiques and collectibles with the high demand on online shopping, Paulanne together with her son Luke, created Paulanne’s Treasure House and it is now open for all to come and visit.
Paulanne owns this collection of hers to her late beloved husband Rennie, for always encouraging her and for being patient to accompany her on this passion of hers. She is a mother to Claire and Luke and now also grandma of three young children Rafel, Tereza and Marta. When she is not busy collecting and hunting for antiques, she splits her time enjoying her family whilst working on other dreams of hers.
